Dear Readers,

The country of Georgia has a unique relationship with anthroposophy. In addition to being a Christian nation with a rich connection to particular mythologies, their first president after the fall of the Soviet Union, Zviad Gamsakhurdia, was an anthroposophist. This August, myself and many other young people gathered in Georgia for a Youth Section conference on social threefolding at a new Waldorf school built by the Youth Society Parzival during the Covid years. In this issue, we hope to give you a rich taste of this conference, bringing you into Georgian culture, the youthful spirit that was celebrated, and the unexpected encounters that can happen at gatherings such as these.
