1923: it was the year in which working people in Germany carried their monthly earnings home in wheelbarrows full of banknotes, the year that the brown stormtroopers seized power for the first time, and the year that the Anthroposophical Society was founded. Rudolf Steiner gave birth to it in dramatic times. Today, a hundred years later, the world is a different world, and the Anthroposophical Society is a different society. What is reflected is the dramaturgy of the times. So, there is not a lot of time to celebrate; instead, just like a hundred years ago, anthroposophy is calling for spiritual ideas and solutions. We consider this in this issue as we take a moment to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Christmas Foundation Meeting and the founding of the Anthroposophical Society.
