How to get to the Goetheanum
By train: from Basel SBB station in the direction of Laufen take the S3 to Dornach-Arlesheim, then continue with local bus 66 to the "Goetheanum" stop.
By tram: from Basel SBB take tram Line 10 to Dornach-Arlesheim station. Continue with local bus 66 to the "Goetheanum" stop.
By car: Basel highway in the direction of Delémont, exit Reinach-Süd, signpost Dornach, then signpost Goetheanum. There is a fee for the Goetheanum parking lot (also in the evening and on weekends and holidays).
On foot: 15 minutes walk from the Dornach/Arlesheim train station
Note for Wheelchair Users
Parking spaces designated for wheelchair users and disabled persons are indicated in the southwest (the two outer parking spaces on the right) and east (the two outer parking spaces on the right) of the Goetheanum (see parking map). Wheelchair access to the Goetheanum is by the ramp to the left of the South Entrance. There is a wheelchair-accessible WC on the ground floor to the left of the ladies' room (passageway Wandelhalle/foyer).
The Great Hall, the Exhibition Hall and some of the facilities (Südatelier, Nordatelier, Nordsaal, Konferenzraum (ramp currently under repair) are accessible by South and North Lift, to be found in the South and North Galleries respectively). There are 3 wheelchair spaces available in the Great Hall as well as 3 spaces for wheelchair escorts, and 2 wheelchair spaces in the Foundation Stone Hall.
Wheelchair access to the Schreinerei (carpentry workshop) is possible across the garden square behind the building. In order to prepare the access to the Schreinerei, we ask you to contact us in advance. The facilities of Rudolf Steiner Halde, the Holzhaus and the Haus Schuurmann are not wheelchair-accessible.
