Annual General Meeting General Anthroposophical Society 2026
Ways of Trust
from 17. to 19. April 2026
We cordially invite you as a member of the General Anthroposophical Society to the General Annual Assembly from 17 to 19 April 2026 at the Goetheanum. Supported by the theme “Ways of Trust" and accompanied by formalities such as the discharge of the Executive Council and the annual report, three major events will take centre stage this year.
Firstly, on Friday 17 April, we will celebrate the completion of Rudolf Steiner's Complete Works together with the Rudolf Steiner Archive and various guest contributions in a festive ceremony. An Open Campus with various experiences will subsequently be opened.
Secondly, Justus Wittich will be bid farewell as Treasurer after 14 years of tireless service. Sebastian Bauer will then be proposed as a new election (AWW 1/2026).
Thirdly, as approved by last year's General Annual Assembly, we will jointly work on an interim status of the Constitution Group's work and thereby further address the constitutional question. This is intended to serve as an intermediate step towards reaching a supported proposal for the constitutional question at the 2027 General Assembly.
The members memorial will take place as usual on Friday evening at 8:00 p.m. to commemorate the members who crossed the threshold in 2025. Furthermore, Section leaders and country representatives will deliver impulse contributions regarding “Ways of Trust", and two sessions are scheduled for motions and concerns.
The General Annual Assembly can again be followed via livestream through the member login on the Goetheanum website, and consultative voting will be possible. Please check in good time whether your login details are still current, or create a new account if you do not yet have one. Translation will be provided in German, English and French.
We look forward to continuing our Anthroposophical Society and School of Spiritual Science work in a changing world with you at the General Annual Assembly, following the centenary of Steiner's death.
With warm regards,
Justus Wittich, Constanza Kaliks, Ueli Hurter, Stefan Hasler
