Connecting with the world – studying Anthroposophy online
Much has changed as a result of Covid. Requirements such as simultaneity, availability and flexibility stand opposite personal needs such as calm, concentration and encounter. Studies and Professional Development offer an online programme that addresses this situation.
Originally conceived as a temporary solution during lockdown, the programme has turned out to be a model for contemplative work and sharing with others from home. The feedback from former students across the world has confirmed this and has encouraged the Studies and Professional Development faculty to continue to offer the online course 28 Days of Anthroposophy from the Goetheanum twice every year.
The next course will start on 15 November and continue on a daily basis up until 12 December 2021. The course will focus on the joint study of a philosophical text in different language groups and on colloquia about art, eurythmy and presentations in English. At midday (CET), the international study community has the chance for an exchange that will enable students to transcend the boundaries of their own culture and understand the world in different ways.
