Media releases

One part of the Goetheanum’s PR work is releasing regular information on its activities and positions as media notifications.

In 2020 it was particularly important due to the Coronavirus to broadcast impulses from the Goetheanum. This happened, among other routes, in 54 media releases in German and an additional 40 in English. Since March, these messages have also gone out in French and Spanish.

The notifications are not only sent to specialist media and subscribers but also to people in positions of responsibility, to country representatives and branch leaders and anyone working professionally in the field the message refers to – as a service. In addition, it is hoped that the information is passed on to anyone interested. Nominated for two digital PR Awards

The media releases are published and distributed via Mynewsdesk. Every year, this PR platform honours customers for outstanding digital PR results and quality. Having been awarded the prize for ‘Best Newsroom’ in German-speaking countries in 2018 (Anthroposophy Worldwide 7-8/2018), the Goetheanum was nominated in two categories in 2019 and 2020: ‘Best Newsroom in the German-speaking world’ and ‘PR Personality of the Year’ (no awards).
