Human evolution as described by Darwin has been impressively confirmed by genetic comparisons with primates. The incarnation appears to be the result of random variation and selection. From an inner perspective, however, it can also be interpreted in such a way that man is both the origin and the goal of his own evolution. The attempt to bridge the gap between these two positions opens up new perspectives on the challenges and tasks facing each and every one of us.
