Goetheanum Visitor Guidelines
During general opening hours visitors can access all public areas at the Goetheanum including the Foyer and Cafeteria, the West Staircase with the Red Window, the staircases in the south and north etc. Special opening times apply to the Main Auditorium and the exhibition rooms.
We ask our visitors to be considerate and mindful of the Goetheanum’s special character. Please be aware of ongoing events and of other guests when speaking on the phone or having conversations anywhere in the building. Group singing and making music in the West Staircase require prior permission. Please leave all rooms as you found them. Help us to keep the building tidy and clean. These guidelines apply to the Goetheanum, all adjacent buildings and the entire campus.

You must not sell goods or tickets, play music, distribute printed material or carry out promotional or fundraising activities within the building or on campus without permission from the management.
Dogs are not permitted inside the buildings. They may be tied up at the gates in front of the west entrance to the Goetheanum. Assistance dogs are excepted from this rule.
