Extending the Art of Healing
New podcast series on Anthroposophic Medicine.
When was the last time you had a completely new thought about healing? What did you discover at that time? Do you remember? Awakening to new perspectives is one of the most exciting reasons to learn about anthroposophic medicine, for both providers and patients. You can even feel how your thinking gets actively “stretched” as part of exploring a new perspective. A new podcast series offers you the chance to do this again. It’s a series of discussions between Dr. Adam Blanning (Medical Section Co-leader) and Laura Scappaticci (High School Counselor in a Waldorf School in the U.S.), who explore five different chapters from the book Fundamentals of Therapy. The medical section is celebrating this special book, which was written collaboratively by Rudolf Steiner and Ita Wegman 100 years ago. We invite you to join this exploration, which includes topics like the healing activity of the etheric, how physical substance can change to become a “bearer of the self-conscious spirit,” and the importance of iron and quartz as archetypes for healing activities.
